Welcome to WEEK THREE of the
Summer Food & Body Image Challenge!
This week I want you to get clear on where you are RIGHT NOW when it comes to judgements about yourself, others, food, weight, and beauty. When you are in JUDGEMENT about things - whether it's a judgement about the shape of your body or the food choices of the woman next to you in the grocery store - you lose the CURIOSITY and COMPASSION required to make changes.
BUT FIRST, HOW DID LAST WEEK GO?
Did you find you are your own best friend when it comes to your body? Or would the relationship be better defined as "frenemies"? Soul mates? Oh no.... are you and your body arch rivals??
Not to worry if you missed either of the last two weeks. You can find them here:
Your only task for the following week is to keep track of every judgement you have about yourself and others when it comes to food, weight, body shape, beauty, and health.
Good or bad - get it down on paper or in the notes app of your phone.
I want you looking for places where you have very fixed beliefs about what is right or wrong when it comes to movement, nutrition, dressing, beauty, and health.
If we want to change the way we relate to food and our bodies is necessary to take a hard look at where change will be the hardest - places where we are fixed in our thinking and beliefs.
Next week we'll begin to explore the process of change!
