Summer Food & Body Image Challenge!
Here's what I wanna know:
Are you happy with the way you move?
Exercise is often a piece of the PROBLEM when it comes to our relationship with food and body AND a piece of the SOLUTION.
What do I mean by that?
Well, exercise can be a tool we use to punish our bodies, to earn food, to prove worth
It can be the ultimate tool of self-care - the way we connect to our bodies, manage stress, and play.
How are YOU using the tool of exercise in your life?
The best way to figure this out is through experimentation:
If you exercise religiously - see how it feels to take a week off.
If you never move, commit to one week of moving your body daily, for 15 minutes.
If you think you HATE exercise - try experimenting with different classes, types of exercise, time, and intensity.
Try something you've NEVER tried before.
When you change up your routine what comes comes up for you??
Does your relationship with exercise feel fun, flexible, playful, life-enhancing OR does it feel like something you must do to mange weight and food anxiety?
